Obviously, I am incapable of answering a single question every day, but I think it's ok to bunch them up.
A good song to drive to is Radar Love, by Golden Earring. Listen to that beat, man. How could anyone listen to this song when they're behind the wheel and not move around in the seat?
A song about drugs and alcohol would be White Rabbit, by Jefferson Airplane. One pill makes you larger, and one pill makes you small. And the ones that mother gives you don't do anything at all. Classic, simply classic. How could that be anything but a drug song?
One pill makes you larger, and one pill makes you small
And the ones that mother gives you, don't do anything at all
Go ask Alice, when she's ten feet tall
And if you go chasing rabbits, and you know you're going to fall
Tell 'em a hookah-smoking caterpillar has given you the call
And call Alice, when she was just small
When the men on the chessboard get up and tell you where to go
And you've just had some kind of mushroom, and your mind is moving low
Go ask Alice, I think she'll know
When logic and proportion have fallen sloppy dead
And the white knight is talking backwards
And the red queen's off with her head
Remember what the dormouse said
Feed your head, feed your head
Link up with Kwizgiver and her May music meme.
I remember the song and the movie. Takes me back to those days. I didn't use drugs back in the days. Wasn't until I got hurt that I had to take pain medication. Luckily for not to long. Drugs kill your liver as well as your mind.
ReplyDeleteLoved Radar Love back when. I haven't thought of it in years.
