We had snow overnight.
My husband guessed 6" after shoveling the deck.
But neither of us measured it.
It always makes for a lovely photo.
I took these as soon as it became light, because the wind is blowing.
The snow will be out of the trees soon.
Then the photographs won't look so lovely.
Because the white against black makes the beauty.
Great pictures. I love the way the snow clumps on the pine trees. I hate the way fake snow looks on Christmas trees! I hope this is the last of winter. But I hope for a looong spring!
ReplyDeleteLovely photos. It fell all day here on Tuesday, about 8 inches on my side of town (far south), though the "official" total at the airport (far north side) is 6.5 inches. My sister is about 70 miles south of me and also measured 8 inches of the white stuff. We are supposed to have temps in low to mid-40s and rain through the weekend, which will melt a lot of the snow, but also produce dense fog.
