Today has been a bit frazzled, so contentment has been a bit hard worn, but perhaps that makes it all the sweeter.
I found contentment in playing video games. There, I said it. I like to play video games and I'm not the least bit sorry for it. It's a great way to break away from the trials of the day, shut my mind down into a narrow plane of thought, and regenerate for a while.
There is nothing wrong playing video games. Everyone needs a way to chill. I loved playing Farmville. It allowed me to be creative. I learned a lot about other countries, plants and trees. I was sad to see it go, but it gave me more time for my Bible journaling and crafting.
ReplyDeleteElvenar, which is a city building game, mostly. Also Mergest Kingdom and I just started Elder Scrolls: Castles, which is a new game that came out yesterday. And lots of solitaire.
ReplyDeleteNo judgement here. Every day I still tend my Farmville 2 crops. There's just something so DEPENDABLE about it. No surprises.
