A SWVA resource

I wanted to give a shout out for lotzothoughts who has created a new search engine specifically for local bloggers.

http://swvablogsearch.googlepages.com

The idea is that if we're all writing about the same topic, say, the elections yesterday, then it will be easier to find what we're all saying. He is going to be adding other features too, so be sure to check it out.

  1. Not a pygmy rattle snake. according to the DGIF we only have two types of snakes of the rattler sort in Va and only timber rattlers live here.

That was a little pine snake. He had no pits neath his eyes best I can tell and wears black eyeshadow at the corners of his eyes.

I had one in the apple tree afew years ago and put it in a cup and drove it down to Lipscombs farm (ne Dr. zilhardst's old spot.)
There they Id' it. On the way home it climbed out of the cup into Brittany's lap and she sprang from the car as soon as I stopped it. I laughed at her fear of such a tiny reptile.
My fears are just as misplaced of a life I cannot control and things that go bump in the night,

Nice move on avoiding lunch with the hunters!
