My father passed away unexpectedly on Thursday. He loved music. If there is one song that will always make me think of him, it's this one by Elvis Presley: My Way.
I am so sorry for your loss. It's kinda weird, losing a parent. (Coming up on the first anniversary of my mother's death.) Be gentile with yourself. Allow yourself to feel what you're feeling. Take care.
I am so sorry. It was hard losing my father. You will hang on to those special memories you made over ther years. My dad was a teacher and a coach. One of my friends sent me a picture the other night of my dad's induction photo to the sports hall of fame. I had never seen it before. I hope you will have moments like that. Maybe someone will give you a picture of your dad you have never seen or tell you about something great he did that maybe you didn't know about. It is hard. Give yourself grace and time to heal and grieve. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
