My grandma used to tell me the pansies were the ones with the faces (as opposed to snapdragons, the ones I could make talk). I love that your photo made that sweet memory pop into my head, though I still don't quite see the faces.
I didn’t think I would have much luck with pansies, but now I know different. They bloom year round here, as long as I water them.
