Thursday Thirteen #690

Some quotes to think about:

9. It’s better that we feel something for each other rather than behave like corpses toward one another, the more so because as long as one has no real right to be called a corpse by being legally dead, it smacks of hypocrisy or at least childishness to pose as such. ~ Vincent Van Gogh

  1. In the middle of reading my mind starting singing "Love will Keep Us Together" by Captain and Tenelle. Van Gogh is pretty heady and Franklin pretty sharp.

  2. The quotes about brothers hit home to me right now. I don't want to understand #6 but that's not going to happen. Sigh.

  3. Wow. I didn't know it was Aesop on - "Together we stand, divided we fall." In college we used to sing a song called We Are the Children of Yesterday's Dream which includes 'together we stand....' in the lyrics.
