Even though I have that wonderful bird book my brother gave me, I still am not the best at identifying birds. The only one I'm sure of is the blue jay. I think the first two might be tufted titmouse, and I have no clue on the last one. I haven't found a picture that looks like that bird yet. Of course, it is a very fat book with lots to look through.
Wonderful pictures of the birds. My desk looks out a window and there is a big tree branch outside. The cardinals and blue jays have been putting on quite a show. I need to tell someone I want a birdfeeder for Christmas.
ReplyDeleteWe have a local bird watching club if interested “ Roanoke Valley Bird Club” the annual membership for an individual is just $12 a year and years run from September to September. They are probably doing Zoom type meetings durning covid but they have a monthly news letter also. They can probably answer any questions you have about birds.
ReplyDeleteNot sure of the bird in the first two pics as I cannot see it well enough, but the next is a Blue jay and then a common house finch.
