Other ages that you may have heard of include the Age of Enlightenment, the Bronze Age, the Industrial Age, the Victorian Era, etc.
I wonder what people in the future might call this time period. (That's provided humanity manages to last another 1,000 years, something I doubt.) Here are some guesses.

I think it's the age of disinformation! Maybe too much information leads to disinformation. The age of Enlightenment sounds like a good one.

ReplyDeleteI read an interesting article recently that put forth the idea that we are going to be entering a dark age. Why? Because while we have never had access to more information, there are fewer and fewer people left who have actually lived these things, experienced them, made them a part of themselves, and gained knowledge. Too many now just see something on the internet or TV or read it in a book or a tweet and assume they know the truth and how it affects the world. Interesting thought.
