Robins
My grandmother always said the first robins heralded spring. I don't know about that but the yard has been full of them in recent days. Seems a wee bit earlier than usual for migration to me, but I don't track these things on a calendar.
Anyway, I took some photos with my new Nikon B700. Still trying to learn the camera and what it will do.

we have had more robins in our yard since it has been warmer, my parents always said spring was on the way when robins appear

DeleteWe have had hundreds of robins swarming in our cedar and pine trees for the past few days. I've taken some video and will post on FB. They seem to be freaking out the cardinals who normally are plentiful in the yard. Also a lot of starlings swarming above our neighborhood.
