Thursday Thirteen

Can't get enough of Spring after that awful winter!

1. Robins herald a new beginning.

2. Flowering trees bring great visual pleasure...

3. And pollen! (achoo!).

4. See how lovely the forest is? Nothing like a little color!

5. Majestic redbud!

6. Bradford pears. They've been spectacular this year.

7. Dandies and clover!

8. More redbuds, up close and personal.

9. My green lawn. (There is a turkey in this picture but it can barely be seen.)

10. Daffodils!

11. Early sunrise.

12. Barrels of blooms.

13. Early newborn.

Lots of people play Thursday Thirteen. You can read about it here. This is number 134 for me!

  11. You have dandelions already? We only have their look alike: coltsfoot. We were in Roanoke yesterday and the redbuds so took our breath away that we bought on in a nursery. But I just noticed they only like morning sun, so I have no clue where to plant it in my yard.

  12. You're torturing me. We're still getting snowed on. The Girl and I were walking around the block a couple of days ago. She found some little red buds on a bush - the kind that typically take about three weeks to open, and got all excited because they were the only buds to be found.

  15. The crocus and daffodils are up here, and after three days of rain I'm sure tulips, magnolias and crapapple blossoms won't be far behind. You should see how green the grass is since the rina started on Monday! lol

  20. GREAT pictures! We have some trees that need to come down in our yard (they're ash trees), and I'd like to replace them with redbuds.
