Tinker Mountain

  1. Seeing Tinker Mountain makes me think of Annie Dillard's book, Pilgrim at Tinker Creek. It was one of my favorite books when I was younger, and I still like it very much.

  3. I love that view. Hollins is such a special place. I just blogged about a historical book of pictures of Virginia. There is a picture of a street car from Vinton that crashed into Tinker Creek in 1906! I'd never even heard of that before, have you?
