Thursday Thirteen

Things I see around me in my office:

1. A calendar
2. Three guitars
3. A harmonica
4. My computer
5. Benadryl
6. A light lamp for SAD
7. Hand weights
8. Cameras
9. Binoculars
10. Books
11. 3 x 5 index cards
12. Pictures of Gandolf, Melissa Etheridge, Bonnie Raitt, and a copy of a painting by Van Gogh
13. Yarn for crocheting

What does that tell you about me, I wonder? What do you see from where you are sitting? What does it say about you?

Thursday Thirteen is played by lots of people; there is a list here if you want to read other Thursday Thirteens and/or play along. I've been playing for a while, and this is my 740th time to do a list of 13 on a Thursday. Or so sayth the Blogger counter, anyway.

  1. You can tell a lot about a person by what's around them. I remember a guy wrote a book on Bob Dylan by looking at his trash!

  2. I thought "lucky her she's got a SAD light", and then I thought "hell, I could get one of those". I had one back in the day, in Alaska, but I never could really figure out if it helped.

  3. I should be getting a sad light tomorrow, if Amazon is on time.

  4. I'm glad you have a calendar. I read that wall calendars are going the way of the dodo, and that made me sad. I'm intrigued by the index cards.

  5. I think it says you are creative and talented, considering the guitars, harmonica, yarn, etc. Around my computer desk where I'm typing this is my tablet, phone, pens, and a squeaky dog toy that the squeaker is half out of (our dog likes to destroy squeakers :)

    Great list!
