Sunday I received a phone call from a neighbor that there were pelicans on the pond.
He wasn't kidding! There is a huge flock of about 20 down there. We've never had pelicans on the farm before.
I have no idea what they are doing here.

Wonderful snaps! The closest to strange we've ever had is a couple of ducks in the swing park. The drake was pestering the poor female for mating but she was having none of it!
