Wonderful snaps! The closest to strange we've ever had is a couple of ducks in the swing park. The drake was pestering the poor female for mating but she was having none of it!
I've never seen white pelicans. My mom has memorized a Nash Limerick about them.
A wonderful bird is the pelican His beak holds more than his belican He holds in his beak Food enough for a week But I'm damned if I see how the helican.
Only when we were little, Mom said the last line But I don't know how in the heck he does it.
How fun to see! They must have been moving on through your area and needed a break. :-)
ReplyDeletewow that is weird, and neat! but shouldn't they be busy delivering babies somewhere?
ReplyDeleteWow! How crazy is that?!
