I need me some calm, ma'am
to take away the pain and the pounding
and the thumpa thumping in my head.
I need me some calm, mister
to ease the whine and the winding
and the twisting turning of my soul.
I need me some calm, daughter
to send me on back and then falling
and onward tumbling into my past.
I need me some calm, son
to give me a desire and a yearning
and the time and the trembling
to move on.
That is some picture. Where is it from?
ReplyDeleteI took it in from the street at a museum in Fincastle.
