What could I do? I grabbed the camera and went for a walk around the yard and the field beside the house.
This is all that remains of the cabin. My husband and his friend began building this when they were about 10 years old - so this structure is almost 40 years old. They never finished it.
It's rotting and decaying and one day will be nothing more than a pile of mulch. My husband has fond memories of their construction efforts, though. I think it gives him a sense of connection to his past.
Love the sunrise shot. I really need to get a decent digital. Are you happy with yours?
ReplyDeleteI'm currently using a Canon PowerShot S3 IS and I really enjoy it. It has a good zoom and it's easy to use. It's not an SLR but I'm very happy with it. It does everything I need and more.
ReplyDeleteI want something with a powerful zoom, easy to use, easy to download, etc., but not too pricy. That being said my Minolta Maxxum 35mm, 20 year old camera still beats the pants out of any digital I've seen. If only I could get those pictures on-line.
