Friday, March 29, 2013, when I took these photos, the mountains still had snow on them before noon.

This is looking east from my backyard, towards Bedford County.
I think (but am not 100 percent certain) that the largest mountain is the Peaks of Otter.
The Blue Ridge Parkway is behind our house, so I think you look towards us. When I look that way, our hill behind our house keeps me from seeing any neighbors so I only see woods and fields. I love that. It seems you have a lot of woods and fields in your view. Ain't it grand?
ReplyDeleteIt's cold again tonite,.. not cold enough to snow, but I stepped outside with the pups and the air felt like winter. Quite gusty out there.
