Wordless Wednesday

An old hayrake located at the Cyrus McCormick Historic Site in Steeles Tavern, VA

Linking up with Wordless Wednesday for the 5th time.

  1. can you imagine? i wonder what it is like to drive one of those suckers? hard work i bet. ha. ha!! (:

  2. No engine, no cab, no air conditioning, just a farmer and his horse making the field ready for planting. I guess that's what they mean by having a "tough row to hoe". Thanks for sharing. Happy WW.

  3. Oh my goodness...that looks just like one my Grandpa used to plow with. He had an old, cranky mule that I was scared to death of. He had huge, yellow teeth. (the mule, not my Grandpa, haha!)

    Great picture, Anita!

  4. Great pic!
