These woods are directly behind my house.
We do not own them. They belong to my husbands' parents.
Soon loggers will be cutting down many of these mighty trees.
It makes me very sad but there is nothing I can do about it.

We have loggers that come down our road every year to harvest nearby woods. I hate the thought of it - not to mention the trucks going down our little dirt road - but I suppose it's healthy to do it.
ReplyDeleteI live in fear that the tiny woods behind my house going down the hill will one day be cut down. I love those scraggly woods. One neighbor did cut down a slew even though I warned him that his house at the bottom of the hill would flood if he took them all out. Didn't listen...Big mistake.
