2. What takes up too much of your time?
A. Playing video games. I really need to stop that.
3. What TV show or movie do you refuse to watch?
A. I do not watch anything on Fox. I also don't like gore or horror shows.
4. What's worth spending more on to get the best?
A. Furniture. I don't understand this Ikea generation, where you're buying something that isn't going to last five years.
5. Share something you did last week.
A. I did some interesting writing, an essay about male witches and a short story.

my oldest daughter's apartment is filled with Ikea furniture and she's on her 7th year of owning most of it. Her dining room table and chairs are gorgeous!! I think it depends on exactly WHAT you buy. The furniture is much better than the linens I can testify to that!

My husband plays a video game almost every evening but it's his way to unwind from a stressful job.

ReplyDeleteI don't watch Fox News. Actually, I have given up watching U.S. news - I watch BBC, if anything. Great answer about furniture - true!! I like those songs!!
ReplyDeleteMy furniture is mostly inherited antiques.. from my mom and grandmothers. My only Ikea is a huge Kallax book case hacked into a wall partition. I like your song choices.

ReplyDeletePlaying video games keeps your mind sharp. I play them more often now I've retired. Crikey - if I lived over in the US I would avoid Fox News like the plague. I can't believe how biased it is (from what I've heard). I like IKEA furniture if I'm honest. We have some that has lasted years. We don't go there exclusively though.
