We had something like that years ago in Raleigh that came up out of nowhere and had damage similar to yours. We were sure it was a tornado, but the weather service called it straight-line winds. You are blessed.Bethhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12575140898505901920noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32199165.post-7894341881426575062012-07-02T21:46:06.303-04:002012-07-02T21:46:06.303-04:00They say we'll get our power back on July 5, s...They say we'll get our power back on July 5, so a few more days of this, picking up branches included.colleenhttp://looseleafnotes.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32199165.post-26103615994056852992012-07-02T19:35:43.612-04:002012-07-02T19:35:43.612-04:00Sorry you are having to spend time out in the heat...Sorry you are having to spend time out in the heat picking up around the yard. Keep in mind that there is no hurry to get it picked up. It will be there tomorrow, and this heat is not good for anyone to be out in. Like you, we were lucky. Damage was minimal and, while our power flickered a lot, it never went out completely.Becky Mushkohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11833297935575559624noreply@blogger.com
