Thursday Thirteen

Happy Thanksgiving to my readers in the United States! To the rest of the world, cross your fingers and hope for the best for this nation, which is now in the hands of some of the worst people I've had had the misfortune to read and learn about. May whatever spirit it is that guides our souls turn toward the light - or at least figure out that there is a light.

For Thursday Thirteen, I offer up turkey:

My favorite turkey.

Thursday Thirteen is played by lots of people; there is a list here if you want to read other Thursday Thirteens and/or play along. I've been playing for a while and this is my 527th time to do a list of 13 on a Thursday.

  1. My Beloved Sandra and I will be feasting at her daughter's (ie The Kid) place (Fredricksburg, VA). We weren't invited to Mar-A-Lago.

  2. Ha! I'd say that last Turkey is the cutest, and it has a hat!
Happy Thankgiving you guys! Hope it's a good one. We are celebrating with my in laws. I am girding my loins, so to speak.

  3. Ha ha on the last one! Great shots. Love the fully fanned one.

  4. Hope your Thanksgiving was nice! Mine turned out to be better than I thought it would be! : )

  5. The fanned one looks like a mini-peahen. I remember their sound; many years ago my mom raised turkeys. The taste, well the last time I had some was 11 years ago in England. Yum!

  6. Hope you didn't roast your favorite turkey. Hee hee.

I enjoy your comments and always appreciate the opportunity to visit the blogs of my readers. I hope you have a great day!
