Albino or Piebald Deer

I snagged these shots of a grey-white deer around 11:30 a.m. this morning as it passed through the field. The camera kept wanting to fog over from the cold so I had a difficult time getting a clear photo.

That last shot really shows how grey-white the deer is.

  1. Cool pics -- I imagine he'll blend in a bit better when the snow comes. Sorry the weather prevented you from getting a clearer shot. It drives me nuts when the camera lens fogs up, winter or summer.

  2. What an interesting deer! I don't think I've ever seen one quite that color before. Good catch!!

  3. We had one over this way several years ago. The few times I saw it, I thought it looked like a goat. Someone told us that albino deer are not healthy, but we always thought of it as pretty special.
