Fincastle, Last Night

As everyone knows, I'm in love with the architecture and design of the Town of Fincastle. I love its history, it's quaintness, and it's charm. Last night I took the camera and tripod into town to see what I might capture. Here are the results.

Christmas lights on the Voter Registrar building.

Christmas lights on Main Street.

Fincastle Methodist Church

The town from the Godwin Cemetery.

Fincastle Presbyterian Church from Godwin Cemetery.

The Courthouse from Godwin Cemetery.

Another shot of the town from Godwin Cemetery.

  3. These are wonderful and I love to share these with family and friends away from here so that they want to live here! You should share these with the Bot. County Tourism office--they need a vast audience. You are equally talented at photography as you are at writing--sheesh!!!!! xoxoxo Thanks for these.

  5. I saw this first photo on Facebook and thought I was seeing our own Farmer's Supply building here in Floyd, which I took a picture of yesterday. Love it!

  8. Fincastle is just a short drive south for me, but I haven't been there yet. So much to do settling in and so much to see! Maybe I'll get to Fincastle after New Years!
