This is the reason I really wish I had a long telephoto lens. A 200mm simply doesn't bring me in close enough to capture the wildlife from the front porch!
These were taken today with my Nikon D40 (6.1 mbs) and then cropped in Picasso.

I know what you mean about the lens. It just never quite gets us close enough, does it? Great gobblers though.

Not having the right camera can be really frustrating. I struggled for years with a little digital point and shoot. Now I have a DSLR. It's harder to use, but I like it more.
